How to Activate a Custom Domain in BKFunnels?
Learn how to activate your custom domain in BKFunnels and how to set up the DNS records with your provider.
A custom domain is the unique address of your funnel that will appear in the browser's URL to access your website. You can purchase it from domain providers and have your own web address from there.
By default, we offer a standard domain for you to use in your funnel if you don't want to add your own custom domain.
It appears in the format "bkfunnels.com/yourfunnel". However, you can use your own domain, and in this article, we’ll show you the complete step-by-step guide:
Step 1 - Access your Funnel -> Left Menu -> Settings
Step 2 - Next, enter your domain in the "Custom Domain" field.
Step 3 - Enter your custom domain and click "Add."
Now, go to your domain provider's DNS AREA.
In this area, you need to add the following records:
Type: CNAME
Name: www
Value: cname.vercel-dns.com
If the CNAME doesn't work, add the data below as an A record with the @ symbol. Remember to delete any other A record with the @ symbol that is already configured in your hosting.
Type: A
Name: @
Value: 76.76.21.21
The propagation time for an A record can take anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours to fully reflect.
After that, just wait for the propagation. It usually takes 30 minutes to 1 hour, but it can take up to 24 hours.
